Soap: Oaken Lab Sanctum
Pre: Proraso Red
ASL: Oaken Lab Sanctum
ASB: None

The Tradere is easy to hold an manoeuvre despite its weight and size. I had an acceptable DFS- from two passes. I'm still not sure if this is a razor I'd add to the den but it is a thing of beauty.

With regard to the Oaken Lab soap, the manufacturers description is spot on - Sanctum opens with Sandalwood and Rose forward scent which opens with floral crisp Bergamot and dries down to a deep creamy wood base. It absolutely does. The lingering note is a dark wood and this is also the dominant note within the splash.

Soap performance is excellent - like all the other Oaken soaps I've tried. Plenty of slickness and residual slickness. The splash has the same excellent properties of the others and my face feels great.

I'm not going to keep this set though. Why not? It's excellent! The scent profile just isn't me and would suit those who prefer a woodier scent. Keep your eyes peeled on the BST of you fancy this set.
