Finally get to reuse a tub! The Baker Street refill feels really soft compared to the larger Stirling soaps in tubs and Piacenza doesn't smell quite how I expected, so will see how it lathers up

A couple more MdC samples from Shavedash, 2x Vetyver, 1x Agrumes.

Probably going to treat myself to a jar of MdC for Christmas, these are the last two scents to sample but so far I really like the original.

Cx-Titan ++ baseplate. Had this before and sold it, but want to give the ++ plate another chance.

Yes, in my opinion they are similar to the Astra SP. Quite soft and quite effective.

APShaveCo Cashmere 26mm knot arrived today.

Not used it yet but can comment on the construction which I'm very impressed with. No inverted hairs, even halo and best of all the glue bump is non-existent! Measured directly above the glue plug there is perhaps 3mm of discernible bump... Once set in the handle there is nothing at all, just like a Simpson's.

If you don‘t mind my asking, at which loft did you end up setting the 26mm Cashmere bulb?

54mm I think. Just about perfect for me... 52mm was too stubby and prevented splay whilst 56mm was too floppy.
