How on earth would you know it was a real one? The seller just had tat up for sale and this, I bet he thought all his Christmas's have come together.
Not for me, a tech"s a tech and worth £25 max if mint.

The hybrid is meant to be in a little leather zipped number. The seller mightnt have known what exactly he had but the market dictates the price and £225 without the correct case is an indication of where demand currently sits.

As for the £25 tops estimate - that's what it's worth to you and why you were outbid (theoretically) 10× over. Rarity is a factor to some and for that one will pay a premium.

As a former owner of a hybrid tech which I have now shipped to the USA - there are Techs and then there are Techs (and they're priced accordingly).
