He did. Unfortunately some people clutched their pearls when he declared his pronouns, that was questioned and when he explained that he was transgender the pitchforks came out. One member (who I won't name) was so incensed that he sent a lengthy PM to the mod team to complain in strong language and then left the site.

The OP, perhaps not surprisingly after that welcome, deleted most of his posts and never came back. Personally I consider that to be the lowest point in my tenure here.
