New SV brushes

Really good brushes, these SV beauties...

Having discovered the recent release of a new SV Limited Edition...

I had to acquire one. It might be my very favorite knot so far.

So I bought another one.

The 11/28 has yet to be used. I suspect it will be very much like the 7/28. If so, I'm in high cotton.

The three smaller SV brushes are great brushes, too, but I might like the 30 mm LE even more.

To me, the knot has a natural feel. Soft tips with a bit of scrub. I wouldn‘t describe it as gelly. SV don‘t disclose where they get their knots. Also, the knots have very good flow through, better than any SHD knot I have tried.

So this happened on Sunday. I'd finished my shave and drying the brush when I noticed a gap and it fell out. Gutted.

I didn’t buy it direct from SV but I did buy it from new via (I think) The Shave Lounge. Not sure SV could do anything TBH. I bought it not long after they were initially released.

I think I'd contact both and ask wtf goes on here only in a nice manner though? It is just unacceptable that this should happen to an expensive new brush.

I might contact SV but it's around 8 years old, so I don't hold out much hope.

There's a delicate flaw there, certainly worth contacting them
