Quick update, it's now been a week and Evri are still holding my parcels to ransom. I've had a couple of emails from "Claire" (a bot) promising that "your parcel will be out for delivery today" but still nothing. I've now sent an email to their CEO to complain, I know it won't reach him but hopefully it does get to an actual human.

Unfortunately both parcels have come from overseas, so complaining to the seller might well result in nothing because they're outside the UK and our consumer laws therefore do not apply to them.

Tell it on whatever social media you use, that sometimes gets results when nothing else will.

Do drivers of those over developed milk floats (electric cars) not use their indicators because it might wear out the battery?

Could be.

On the assumption that the lights, horn and other electrical bits are 12V do they have a separate 12V battery with a hamster in a wheel connected to a dynamo charging it up? There must be some very clever circuitry going on.

Life used to be a lot simpler.

old/new rant... we've been living on the Central Right Coast of the USA our whole life... things that are typically needed we have or get replaced waaay before an event happens or in reality the season begins... so currently winter is here and started over a month ago... buttholes somehow don't have a snow shovel or any rock salt... what the eff were these people doing with the snow that's already come down... last week 6"(inches) in 2 days-ish... what they do get a snow shovel use it the one time then throw it away...

Jumpers not made of wool.

It seems crazy to me that it costs more to shear a sheep than the fleece is worth, the famer ends up burning the fleece or laying it down on muddy farm tracks and yet it is difficult to buy a proper jumper made of wool at an affordable price as opposed to thin acrylic which is neither use nor ornament.

A minor rant on food today. Seems to me that the spaghetti I buy is more like what I would call spaghetti. Also, the tinned cream corn that I have been buying has a very thin cream sauce to it, not as rich as before. All minor but annoying all the same.

I spent a little time in Italy in the past and was told, by someone who knew extensively about food, that nobody makes their own pasta anymore, apart from Ravioli and that many, many restaurants just use Barila dried pasta (apart from making their own Ravioli)

They also said the tales of getting up at 6am to make the fresh pasta for the day ahead is just a tale for Tourist's.
