The Province of Ontario sent out $200.00 rebate cheques curtesy of Doug Fords majority conservative government and they are bouncing.
Doug Ford and his majority government has about 15 months left on their mandate but has called a snap election for the end of February. Leaves a lot of people wondering about the need for a snap election and all the money it will cost run.
The rebate cheques bouncing is laughable enough as but made more so on the heels of the questionable call for an expensive early snap election.

At the former abode I used propane for heat and water heating. When I called to place an order, they asked what percent of fuel was left. They would only do a rush delivery if I was at 15 or below.
Same here, you can’t order until the tank's below 25%. We're at 15% now and no indication of when we're getting a delivery.

It's not a case of there being insufficient funds, according to the bank.
Block said that RBC undertakes several steps to authenticate cheques to ensure they are legitimate and received by the intended recipient.
"On very rare occasions, our protocols may result in a cheque being returned when it should have been processed, which is what occurred in this instance with a handful of cheques," he said, adding that the bank has now resolved the issue and that impacted customers have received their $200.

The 3 year old battery went out Friday and left me stranded. I didn’t think it would have been the battery being so new. I have roadside assistance now and decided to use. The service was able to jump the truck off and get me on the road. In fact the wrecker followed me to the repair facility. Since purchasing the battery, I’ve gotten several emails for battery replacement. I’m being followed….🫢
If you own certain year Subaru models, they have acknowledged battery drain issues.

We have been asking for the TransCanada Highway through Northwestern Ontario to be divided 4 laned for years now. For the most part it is still 2 lanes for hundreds of mile/kms. The Ontario Provincial Police just released statistics showing that transport trucks were involved in 60% of accidents involving fatalities in NWO. The provincial average is as stated 20%. A divided 4 lane highway through NWO would go a long way to reducing fatalities. I guess a life here in NWO is not as valuable as in the rest of the province. Personally, I would not drive the only cross Canada highway through NWO in especially in winter.

Even on the limited sections of 4 lane divided highways we have in Northwestern Ontario; transports manage to rear end an already disabled transport shutting down both lanes heading west for hours.

Too many distractions these days. Besides the normal ones like cigarettes, doobs and eating, cell phones are probably the most dangerous items we use in a car these days. I can't tell you now many times I see a driver's head down due to looking at their phone. Not even an attempt to keep eyes on the road.Even on the limited sections of 4 lane divided highways we have in Northwestern Ontario; transports manage to rear end an already disabled transport shutting down both lanes heading west for hours.

You can just imagine the gamble you are taking on these same roads during bad weather when for the most part they are 2 lane undivided if they can do this on a section of 4 lane divided highway in good weather.
