I started fairly recently myself. About three years ago. Once I found “good enough” I sort of stopped exploring new things. For me, that was the Muhle R89 (Vivo) and Muhle classic silvertip fibre brushes. I alternate Proraso and GFT products, and I use Feather blades.
I made the mistake of buying too many creams when I started because I wanted to experience new scents. One of these days I’ll finish them up and try some of those MDC shave soaps.
