New Mühle stainless steel razor 'Rocca'

The finish quality is so different there's no risk of me confusing them! Hopefully the one you receive is better, they also throw in a 10 pack of Muhle blades which is a nice touch... Not the greatest blades by any stretch but not as bad as some make out (they are rebranded Israeli Personna's, I asked Muhle.)

I wasn’t too suited to them, still, my brother may get on with them, but it’s a nice gesture (along with the replacenent of course).
I am hoping for a better shave experience, even if finish is a bit rough, I’m sure I can improve it with a little maintenance/ care.

I find they improve after the first shave which is rough but the following two are quite nice... Blades are one area we truly can say YMMV.

...delighted you ended up with a sorted Rocca in the end...good call...still waiting for my replacement to turn up...

Well, that was my first impression of them too.
Funny, as I usually get on with Personna, though I can’t tell you which ones as until I joined this forum, I didn’t know there were different ones LOL

People say the same about Merkur blades but I've never had a problem with them, duller than St. Petersburg's finest perhaps but the edge is less volatile so they are capable of providing 10 mediocre shaves instead of 2 or 3 good one's before the bin beckons

Mine was sent 1st class, so that should give you a rough idea... Interestingly it didn't come from Muhle themselves but "The Brighton Group Ltd".

Looks good, much better fit and tighter tolerance.

I am pleased with both the finish and the visual appearance/ tolerance.
