New Forest brush appreciation thread

I thought Fido/Peter was a member here? Couldn't see the word "Fido" when I looked.

Always thought him to be a right proper geezer and a thoroughly decent fellow too. Maybe he needs to be persuaded to re-start a small and exclusive concern for a limited number of connoisseurs .... maybe something like....ATG... for example? His wife needs to realise he ought to be reinstated in order to spend less time with his family :)

I asked him about something similar and he is very committed to retirement :)
He said that now in his mid-70's he's focusing on table tennis and after that golf. There shall be no more New forest brushes made.

Sad but also happy to hear he is enjoying his retirement :)

He could pass his "secrets" and let someone else continue the New Forest line... Happy Retirement Peter.

Wow! What a collection!

I have a Tubby 2 and the original brush sold by Fido.

His brushes were top class. The whole incident really got up the nose of a very popular American shaving forum too which, with hindsight, is amusing to say the least.
