Photos sent, requesting repair within 14 days. It took them 4 years to fix the leak on my porch, so not holding out for much this time!Send the photo's to Barratts prior to the work commencing and advise them that the roof works are an urgent repair and that you has sustained water ingress. Also raise the point that you have attempted to contact them previously when you were first aware of the water penetration and the defective lead flashing.
Wonderful news. This is probably the best outcome. Given the crappy work done before, not sure you want them doing it again and waiting for them to actually do the work. Finally, finally got some progress on my complaint against Barratts and blow me down with a feather they are going to re-reimburse me! They refuse to accept liability, and the reimbursement is "without prejudice".
I'm fekkin delighted!
Just a little bit of good news goes a long way to lift the spirits!
