it's been a weird week for us... & we'll keep out some details... been overly trying to do things outside... between the extra energy we got & the weather turning to the expensive crappy weather... we're trying to absorb as much of the good weather as we can... 2 days was "helping" with the exhaust fixing... & earlier after a thing... went for a mile & a halfish walk to a mini-mall we heard had a donut shop... not sure when butt it closed-up... some of the shop's things are still there... a bummer... hope the trip talked about this past week happens & we can hitch the ride...

Sounds like a profitable week. Hopefully the weather stays decent and holds for a little longer before Autumn kicks in

thanks... butt to us... Labor Day (was the 7th) is the end of summer & the locals summer/beach days... a Jerzey(NJ) thing... by the people who live by the beaches... cause the "tourists" disappear... where we are now... the cooler weather has started & shows in the weather guessing app for the week the temps will be mid 70s... pants & long sleeves will be getting put on soon...Sounds like a profitable week. Hopefully the weather stays decent and holds for a little longer before Autumn kicks in

Yeah it’s cooling here too. We normally have a nice September - in fact it can be a really nice warm month but guess it’s not to be. It’s great that you’re getting plenty of walking and car work in though

some bad timing... learned the other week a Rifftrax/original MST3K thing was being shown in some movie theaters for 2 days... today being the 2nd... was told to check the time... we could be dropped off to go see it... butt it's a 1600 time... that the ride can't happen till 1800...

The decorators are in today and through Thursday, I am keeping well out of it. Finished the kitchen and looks good, Wednesday is to sort out a ceiling crack in the Utility - next to the kitchen - caused by the doors slamming shut in the strong winds. Not such a difficult job but the ceiling on the landing is an issue, needs papering with some fibre reinforced paper. The ceiling is over a staircase and there is no chance on earth that I could do that, talking about planks and multiple ladders and that we won't be able to use the stairs until it is done.
Mrs Smith is at work, I shudder to think about her vocabulary if the job isn't finished in the day.

it's becoming the crappy & expensive time of the year... we put the shorts away so they can hibernate... pulled out the pants & extra layers... & a pallet of heating pellets got put away...

We've been lucky today with a very out of course warm day. I think after this week it'll be done for another year here too
