Lovely example of Best badger in the Simpson brush. A little smaller than my usual preference but the Duke 3 is such an iconic brush I thought I’d like one and this came up on a BST.

There was reputedly a bad batch of MWF Paul around 2020 ish... there's a thread about it on TSR. MWF's reputation has always proceeded it, but in the case of the "bad batch" , many seasoned MWF users said it just couldn't be lathered.

I think my 2 and 3 were before that, dunno maybe 3rd?!? Anyway I’ll use a CH3 Sovereign- if it doesn’t work with that brush it won’t work with any
