Wow I was never that bad, wonder why that is.What I find crazy is the amount of people leaving school with virtually no maths skills at all. I'm now back to being a Learning Support Assistant for a college of 16-18 year olds. On every the other day couldn't work out 226-200. There seems to me to be a big difference between young people leaving school. My son is in his last year with top grade predicted in all subject, Spanish being the lowest predicted but still a C pass. And this lad the other day left school last July ! Other states in the class clearly have issues with maths too.
Good on you though mate, fair play to going back and covering what you failed at, it's so much harder when you have other responsibilities in life. All the best.
I was in the top sets at school till year 9, when I turned into a little poop. Also the school anounced that it was closing then, so all the teachers pretty much left and I was the last year to do my gcse's at the school.
Currently I live in an area that I can not afford, for the past couple of years, in order for my son to go to a better school and get a decent education. The down side is I'll have to help with the maths ha.
