It came with no coating and it's a ball ache keeping it shiny, I might just let it oxidise and see how it goes.

A couple of very nice condition Enders.
Red handled "cased" has the rounded cut out in the head circa - 1930's
Black handled "card box" has the rectangle cut out head circa - 1940's - this was sent out as a freebee for receiver to give it a "fair trial" according to the card.
They came with blades so i should be able to fettle one by removing the blade bevel and using a new Injector. The plan is to make a brass blade holder.

I'd this plan years ago and still haven't got round to it. Beautiful pieces the Enders razors.

Oh I've been in contact with Connaught's about it as it's described on the site as coated ... I like the oxidisation so as I was told it's coated I'm put off.

I am not an expert and this is my first Copper brush.
All I can say for sure is it gets black marks all over it like the surface was peeling.
It is NOT though because I gave it a dam good buffing and it was perfect again.
Here are some pics after the last couple of days and I have not buffed it.

And I’ve just followed suit, just picked one up on eBay…again!I did check and I last sold one in October 2023, so I managed to go over a year I’ll have you know!

That is definitely not coated! Oxidisation in action ... I will put my name down for an email when they are back in stock.
Sorry about this, that's how Zenith list them, maybe a translation error on my part however. The catalogue lists them as rivestito in rame 26. I will contact Zenith & clarify the handle material & finish. Please feel free to email me about this: paul@connaughtshaving.com

Italian friends could chime in, but I think it means that’s copper plated and 26 being the size of the knot.
