Yes, that is indeed the latest formulation. Really glad you found that the performance in on par ... and as you say, the lather is a lot easier than the classic tallow formulation. I didn't struggle with lathering the tallow formulation and always pulled up a really thick lather without it going foamy or needing excessive lathering to beat the foaminess down, but many folks fell out with the soap because of that. This formulation (and, to be fair the 2023 formulation) sorted that issue out while, as you say, this formulation meets the tallow formulation on performance.
After a few more shaves, I found it really grew on me. I also like a little buffing with a practically clean face and just a touch of water to revive the slip. MWF had some quite stunning residual slip and that has been restored in this latest formulation.
Yep! It's MWF as we knew it ... now with lathering for all!

Yesterday's mail call and some previous blades haul 
Some good old Polsilver for start.
Two sets of Gentleman's Nod/Zaharoff. I already have both of them, but since they are no longer produced, when the opportunity appeared, I bought a small stock.
EdP Musashi from Gentleman's Nod has joined the soap and aftershave.
Gillette Red Tip in a box. I haven't cleaned it yet, but after initial viewing it looks very good.
And finally, custom made by Turningz by TanZ. With my poor skills, it was difficult to take any good photos, but in real life the brush looks amazing.

A few goodies that I picked up on a recent trip to Sao Paolo State, Brazil. Locally grown and roasted coffee beans, some shaving creams and blades.
The coffee in the middle, providing you like medium roast, is well above par for a standard supermarket offering. When i picked up the blades and most of the creams, it was also confirmed to me that the Brazilian Wilkies are indeed out of production. Rebranded lord and Dorco seem to be the commonest current local offerings as well as Gillette made in China
