Congratulations to all of those running the London marathon today. Fantastic achievement. Superb causes all around.

We have been sat watching the whole thing hoping to get a glimpse of my wife's cousins son. No doubt in vain but so proud of the young man we once held as a baby running a marathon for a fantastic local kids charity.

Yep, right now I feel extremely proud to be part of a great nation. Will definitely have to up my game and do something more charitable soon.

My brother managed to finish in just over 5 hours, great achievement, raised over £1000 for guide dogs. Very proud indeed. Here's his finishers medal.

Wife's cousins son finish just over 5 hours too. He was a late stand in for a mate who pulled out so hi sir Training no consisted of a 7mile run the weekend before. Boy was he suffering though, just goes to show never agree to anything after a few pints !!
