Agreed, the Magnum scent's a winner, as evidenced by the instant demand for it here; to paraphrase: "Magnum - the scent you were looking for but didn't know it". My soap stack's reached critical mass but I'd want to make room for it. Just a thought, excuse me if I've got this completely round my ears but in making it a LE ATG group buy wouldn't we be restricting Darron's potential market? He deserves to be able to sell this as widely as possible.

Very true Chris and me and Darron were thinking the same. With the next group buy we'd prob do just that a "Group Buy" so as any scent we went with wouldn't be limited to only us and would allow Darron to release to the market if he wanted. We'd still get the great discount Darron is able to offer. I think it's only fair with an amazing scent like Magnum.

2nd shave on le bleu, loving Wickhams performance and the scent. Reading the posts on limiting, seems churlish to consider not releasing this or Magnum. Magnum definitely needs to be widely available, that would be my first choice bath soap for sure. I think le bleu should be also. Maybe we could get something like a 3 or 6 month exclusive on these, so we get it first and then Darron could release based on the feedback if he felt he had a market for it. Personally, I think we are already doing very nicely out of the discount deal Darron offered us

I was very surprised at the cost of this soap and would have happily paid the full price for it, as I would for any of the 1912 range.

I also wouldn't have any issues with Darron releasing this soap in the future. It does seem a shame given the great feedback and that it's already been through certification if it isn't released at some point. I think letting us have the first batch and a bit of lead time would be similar to a previous LE soap group buy that I believe is being released again in the summer as another LE.

Like everybody, I got a sample of the Magnum bath soap.
The smell is fantastic ! Is it possible to know the fragrance ?
I can smell a hint of apple or pear, am I wrong ?

i get peppermint, something floral and something woody at the end, cedarwood? also, is there either eucalyptus or tea tree in there?

My soap arrived today. I can't really add anything else to what has already been said but I agree with everyone else, the smell of LE Bleu is amazing, I couldn't stop smelling it today at work! As for the sample soap, thats very nice too, if it became available to buy as a shaving soap I would definitely consider it. Not quite the Magnum Soapus, but its gorgeous none the less.

Well gents, I finally got a chance this morning to collect my parcel from work and to say I am blown away would be an understatement. So a magnum opus is the best work a person has ever done. So like the best song by a musician or whatever. It was mostly just a pun on the soaps name and opus sounds a bit like soap . I was very proud of that pun!

@Fox @Mr Bigmem - gents, the scents are fantastic, and we all know the performance of the 1912 formula is sublime, so I know this is a winner. I recorded a little video this morning of the 'opening', I am on pins waiting for tomorrow morning to shave with it.
