I really poo pooed this soap on it's first use but I realised having only used British creams for 2 months or so I got stuck in a rut with my lathering and had treated this artisan soap as if it were a tub of TOBS... Always going to end in failure. Dialled it in today and what a superb lather it created, had probably my best shave in months.

That's stunning lather. What did you do different?

Just took greater care really Rob. Added a lot more water... That's probably the biggest difference, when using creams you can hardly add any before they collapse compared to artisan soaps.
