I have had lots of negativity that I do usa exclusives and not for the shaving community in the uk

it isn’t that I don’t want to I really do but we need good numbers so it makes financial sense.

I also no longer wholesale in the uk with vendors so doing things like this will give more people the chance to use Løthur that haven’t and to get people in the uk more involved

I have suggested this to the mods at the beginning but they weren’t keen. However I’ll contact them again as we seem to have stalled at the halfway point. It’s a particularly a shame as @LTHURJONNY is definitely keen to produce us a group or in this case a UK Exclusive it would be nice to get it over the line and not have to order his stuff from the US especially with the pound crashing!

The more the merrier as far as I’m concerned the more people we can get involved the better it is for everyone.

I think this was a misunderstanding, we didn’t like the idea of directing people from other sites over here to join the group buy. This was down to concerns that we'd get a raft of people joining to post once to say that they were in for a soap and then to never be seen again.

I can see no problem with making the group buy available on another site and doubt any of the others would mind either. To be fair, I don’t think we want to go down the road of trying to tell people what they can and cannot do on another forum.

I've been away in Tenerife and only just caught up with this thread. I hope we can get the numbers as I love Jonny's products. If I may make a suggestion, purely based upon unsolicited compliments on my nights out over the last week, Spicebomb Extreme ( Viktor & Rolf) Killed the Ladies for me every evening.

I have deleted the post as I don't want to break a rule or upset the anyone (the post has been up for only a few minutes), but I don't think I have done anything to upset the mods, my apologies if I have broken rule inadvertively. They have said they are happy for me to spread the word elsewhere having contacted them just not link them here. I was just trying to get someone else involved who has wider access to the community than me. I'm not trying to get people to join the forum just for the group buy, which they were concerned with and have contacted Jonny as you advised to try and ask him to contact the other groups as I don't use facebook. I was just trying to spread the word to another potential group of buyer I don't have access to. I will leave it with Jonny to try and make contact now as I have spread it where can.

I made the mistake of mentioning the involvement of TSR but have recently been educated in the history of TSR and ATG lol

You knew I had spoken to a Mod at UKWSS and I passed the reply on, it was positive and you knew what they wanted you to do yet you tried to circumvent that for some reason. If I hadn’t spotted it, members could have got banned from there.

@chris.hale I hope you don't mind letting me know if I have breached a rule here I was just following your advise from our earlier exchanges. I am aware of some past acrimony between the two forums but not the details, but have happily enjoyed both forums incident free! However I don't want to cause any further issues which is why I have contacted the Mods throughout the process never having run a Group buy before, I am just keen to see one as it has been offered by Jonny and I love his stuff.
I have deleted the post within minutes and did pass your message onto Jonny @Holyzeus who said he would try but wasn't great with using facebook hence my request on here. I wasn't trying to circumvent any rules or get anyone in trouble just spread the word as it would be nice to get the GB over the line. If I have broken any rules I apologise but I'm just trying to do something positive for the forum, as I say I have no experience running one of these Buys or a full knowledge of the rules I may or may not have inadvertedly broken.
