You can't see it well in the picture, but it sparkles and with the subtle angles and polishing, it's a thing of beauty.

KLAR coal soap.

Been intrigued by this for ages but concerned about reports of unstable lather with coal soaps.

Need not have worried. Although not as thick as the latest artisans, copious and stable lather throughout three passes.

If you're looking for an unscented soap that also claims cleansing and anti-bacterial properties, it could be for you.

And vintage fans like me will love the 150+ year history.
