According to some information from Shipito a while back, the are also no longer able to remove receipts from packages.
That's correct, Alex. I haven't used Shipito for over a year and the removal of receipts from packages had stopped several months prior to my last transaction. It was the external customs declaration that Karve had attached to the package for entry in to the USA that Shipito hadn't removed. In other words, Shipito forwarded the package with two customs declarations attached.

Jon, did Shipito send the razors in the original box from IB or new packaging? Only asking as I did that once with Karve and Shipito sent to me still with the Canadian customs form attached showing true value which was obviously not what I'd declared. Border Force opened the parcel. Luckily, I wasn't charged fees.
I only ordered today. Last time I used was for carbon and karve and I didn’t have any issues, I don’t remember seeing the original customs cards. I’m not worried about IB and the value is under threshold.

I’m not sure to be honest, it’s a sparrow S1 I think.
Jon, I hope this knot works out for you. Read a couple of reviews from a recognised brush maker (RV) on a US site, who also bought the same knot - but ended up not liking it. I think that the Sparrow is Oumo's take on the Wald A1 synthetic knot. I would also be interested in hearing your thoughts about how the knot performs etc.

I've opportunity to see it in person but not to use it. One of the brushes I've made with that knot is now with Jon. It is very dense knot and hard to splay when dry. I'm not sure I would like it in use for face lathering.

Thanks Gile, for your thoughts.
This is the thread from the US site that I mentioned a little earlier.

As I've not used it somehow understand everything RV said. It performed by his words exactly the same I expected. He points that higher loft would be better for it but it won't make any changes as the glue bump is rather high. I've read somewhere that Oumo is planing on releasing second batch with less fibers to ease splay.

The one I have that Gile made is great, great to paint in and I get enough splay to use, my reservations about this second knot is it’s smaller than I imagined, the knot that Gile did in his I’ve found to be excellent and set at a perfect loft. The new one I have I think the k it is set a little high and not big enough knot for the handle but I’ll know more when I use later.

I needn’t have worried about the size of the knot, it’s fantastic. Had no issue with splay or performance, they set the loft perfectly despite what I thought from the visual looks. I doubt it would rival the Wald A1 but it’s very very good.
