I shaved today with a KAI in a Blackbird and the result was superb.

New (to me) KAI blades, tried at a friend's suggestion.

My Feather AS-D2 razor has been transformed for me into the superb shaving tool it should always have been.

Purchased 10 years ago, I tried this razor with a variety of blades including Feather's own Hi-Stainless but couldn't get it to 'work'....so it lived in a drawer.

Can't explain it, are KAI blades a few microns wider, bringing the edge forward? Or thicker (shim effect)? Whatever the reason, thank you KAI!

Hi are they very sharp i also have this razor and just sitting in the drawer as I could never get it to shave me bbs and tried everything under the sun ..it still sitting but if there sharp I give them ago..can I have a link to a site to buy them ..

The KAI blade is also a bit thicker, doesn't flex's as much as the feather blade

And a bit wider.

Another good blade was the Loi (for me). Cheap & sharp enough. Titanium.
