We hit a technical snag (sort of two) which we didn’t see coming so we’ve been working on that for the last few weeks. I think we finally have it resolved and have figured out the path forward. Now that we’re there I think we I should have a substantive update in a week-ish. The good news is that everything else is now lined up for launch so we’re prepped.

Does look a little odd that the text is so large but I'm glad it's going to be sold in a raw finish rather than black personally.
Quite cool looking OC plate. Love it. I'll admit, I am really trying to refrain from buying more razors, so I really wanted to hate this, but it looks phenomenal. I was kind of expecting something that looked like a 3D ABS razor. This is shockingly nice.

Looks really nice but im glad im cured from the buying syndrome and im happy with what i have i ended up using only the game changer 0.68p SB and lupo 0.72 SB mild razors seem to fit like a glove and no longer chasing bbs wich makes it all much more comfortable and made the fun come back again.

No. The reason we can keep it the same price is by ditching the black finish. This will be covered in an update, possibly today. The short version is that we did a ton of lab testing on the initial black finish and couldn’t get it to perform just right. So then we had to pursue different coatings which were more expensive. Testing on those didn’t quite get us where we wanted still and they were 3-5x as expensive as the original black finish. Got to a point where we were blowing the budget and still introducing a failure point that wouldn’t be 100% reliable. So it had to go.

A couple notes on this. The text isn’t really that big in person, it’s printed as-is and isn’t engraved later, and we have a lot of older customers so I wanted the text, especially the levels, to be easily read.
It should polish a bit better than a Rockwell 6S as we get slightly better part densities than MIM. I’m planning on polishing one up today or tomorrow for fun. I won’t share photos, but I’ll report back and let you know how it went!
