for the last 14 months I help care for my elderly mother-in-law who lives with me and she has advanced stage dementia, and I didn't see that happening aged 63.

That's a full time job on it's own Jamie. Chap I know does similar for his Aunt, I applaud you... Not sure I could do it but will have to cross that bridge when I get to it.
