How many scrapes?

I rarely go ATG – despite my membership here. First pass WTG (N-S on my face, S-N on lower neck to line just above Adam's apple, N-S from jawbone to said line), second pass XTG on face (from ear toward nose on both sides) and varying whether repetition of the two-stroke solution of first pass on the neck or one stroke N-S or S-N (never sideways on the neck).

First pass is presumably the relatively speaking more efficient pass, though, so that could explain why I go for less buffing or short strokes on second pass?
Now with you explaining your routine it makes sense to me :)

48 strokes for me
For one pass I dare to assume?

Have you shared your views on the General somewhere in here? Likely? General vs Cobra?
Not sure, I don't believe so, although have definitely commented on both threads. The aluminium General is superb but the CC is something else. Happy to have both in my arsenal, great range of aggression without overly influencing efficiency.

Those sharp feather blades are very effective in reducing facial hair
Not only that the size of the SE blades is much larger than the DE. The General is also fairly mild/safe so I can achieve longer strokes without fear of cutting myself. Put the SE2 in my hands and the scrape count obviously increases.

Back to the OP question.
After a few days off shaving I remembered to count 'scrapes' this morning. So bearing in mind I had 3 day stubble and therefore did a two pass shave and tidy up and I have a Friendly Mutton Chops at the moment.

Assuming that a scrape is a cutting stroke - 128 scrapes.

I must admit when I read the first post the other day I was thinking Ha Ha no way do I do that many! Yet it turns out I do.
Shaving round the FMC will have added some in but most of them were round chin and neck. It was quite an interesting insight into how I shave. Perhaps Mr King has a similarly boney face? Because the only place I can do long scrapes with the full length of the blade is on my cheeks every where else has too many angles and stubble directions.

Tried to limit myself to long strokes this morning and ended up at 85, maybe half of which are short, "get that last lather" kind of strokes. Result? Socially acceptable but way behind even DFS. A cotton ball would have serious difficulties making its way against the grains.
