How many Days in a ROW, before you change Shave Gear?

we typically get samples of wet lather gear and blades and using them till they are done... we only have 1 brush, bowl and until summerish last year we had only 1 razor... we like changing and trying new to us shave gear but we have to be "frugal"...

I've been following a routine over the last few months of going through my collection of vintage blade holders and honed straight razors, sometimes repeating, but more seldom than before when I used the early E Model Schick every morning.

Also, I got a small quantity of yellow Feather blades coming today and some sandalwood soap that I am looking forward to using.

Whenever I feel like it, there really is no rule as far as I can tell. Personally, I change soaps based on my mood and I change blades depending on how dull they get or the kind of shave I want to have. It really is subjective.

Blade - When in my opinion it's falling away (can be between 3 and 10+ shaves depending on type)
Razor - When the blade needs changing
Brush - When the blade needs changing
Soap - Typically a rotation of 3 which are used until finished

Depends entirely on the strength of the whim. I can go from brushless shave butter to a huge boar brush in a day, or stick with a combo for a few days. It seldom lasts for more than 3 days for a razor, as well as a cream / brush combo. Sometimes I use a particular razor for just one shave, to spice things up. Blades - FlyDear blades get 4-5 shaves, and BiC and Feather get 5-7. Those are my regulars at the moment.
