How long between shaves

When I worked it was a straight razor shave every working day and probably early Saturday evening with a rest in Sunday. I always found that the Friday morning shave was the worst, but Saturday and Monday morning were the best with about 36 hours after the previous shave.

Now that I'm retired, it varies in that if I shave with a straight one day, the next day is at the gym where I use a light Schick and the day after I don't bother.

I like to shave everyday..but I don't always. In terms of need, after a few days I look unkempt. So I need a shave..to look like a baby faced assassin..

Usually after 24hrs but if I get a really good close BBS shave I might get away with 36hrs. My facial hair seems to grow fastest on my chin for some reason but as it is mostly white/silver there now it is not as noticeable if I leave it a bit longer!

Daily. I have 2 mild razors (Seygus and Hone 15a) plus a Blackbird. I do have some fast growing whiskers in places and would rate most shaves as close/very good but not BBS.

Same here, although I may stretch it to 36 hours if I feel I can stand the grunginess ...

I usually shave 6 days a week with a break on Sundays. If/when I get a BBS shave, it would certainly see me through to the following day but by lunchtime i would need another shave, consequently even if I get a BBS I still shave every day for work.

The question was how long after a BBS. If that BBS was pushed, I would take a longer break than the usual 24 hours, 36 or 48. Otherwise I'll pay the price and continue doing so if shaving every day. If not pushed, it'd be much like any other day, but I wouldn't NEED to shave the following day. Then again, I don't strictly need to shave anyway.

In normal circumstances, and when in the zone -- when my skin is not acting out in any way, and all gear used is well known and tested -- I can easily shave every day. The feeling of a good shave is further improved by it being on >1 day growth, though.

BBS for me lasts about four hours until I can feel stubble ATG, one reason why I don't think it's worth suffering through going ATG.

Every 3 days for me. After 24 hours not all of my stubble has grown enough to even be cut again. I can do 2 days if I really have to but at 3 days the hair has grown enough and my face healed enough to enjoy another close shave.

24 hours - now my stubble is salt 'n pepper coloured I look like the old man from Steptoe & Son if I don't shave every morning as it grows fairly fast.
