Hot day shave

Great shave last night ,Hot sticky and whiskers is never a good thing for me ,Irratated by the inching all day yesterday in the heat ,My usual setup but tried the 1912 and some Tobs which always work well ,Sweating so much after the shave I couldn’t keep the balm on my face so just gave up with what I call the dressing of the shave (Wierd I know lol ) so bit of aftershave and gave up ,Do you use balms in this hot weather ? All the cold water in the world couldn’t cool my face last night but felt so good to lose the whiskers

I really can’t get on with a Menthol soap just don’t like the feeling and always wipe it off after a few minutes
