I own a pair of Salomon Boots. I loved them the moment I put em on.
They’re super comfortable, light, waterproof and rather cooling. I picked them up at REI.

AKU boots are decent but a little narrow. I used to have Brasher before they became Sports Direct affiliated.

I don’t do that much serious walking these days. For general use I got some Helly Hansen boots, they look a lot like Timberlands. I think they’re better made if I’m honest. I think Timberland

I've tried Merrell and Adidas Terrex boots and shoes recently. Both were too narrow in terms of fit; the latter being ridiculously so.
