Has anybody tried MacDuff's Soap Company Shave Soap from Canada

I've finally got a sample from a good Freemason friend of mine today, it's MacDuff's Aspen Parkland (Unscented), he said that I MUST try this version 5 base and let him know ASAP.

He said the quality of these types of ingredients, creates a lather much higher range and by far better than Ariana & Evans, Barrister and Mann, Noble Otter, Saponificio Varesino and Wholly Kaw I have in my den. It's GREAT to see MacDuff's created less types of soap ingredients below, when comparing against HIGHER range artisan soap makers on the market worldwide.

MacDuff's soap ingredients:-
Stearic Acid, Tallow, Shea Butter, Glycerin, Castor Oil, Kokum Butter, Mango Butter, Cocoa Butter, Sodium Lactate, Rice Bran Oil, Goat's Milk, Aloe Vera, Tremella (Snow Mushroom) Extract, Jojoba Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Silk, Propanediol, Scent Blend

Sloppy base - okay’ish scents

Please explain why this soap is a sloppy base? YMMV... He loves this soap base ingredients, his face is super soft, palmed and super SMOOTH after whole month of using this soap.

Base is sloppy - not sure how else to say it to you - sloppy is sloppy to me …. Maybe buy some and experience for yourself .

I'm mostly using Mike's Natural, Stirling and Woolly Wash Soapery (Australian made)

You mean the soap itself is too soft?

Sloppy could mean poorly made etc.

When I’ve lathered out the puck - the soap goes to fecking poop afterwards - and when I use to order from anticatura - if the weather was hot - it would come like porridge - just an absolute mess in the tub.

so I can only experience my own using - when I’ve lathered from tub - goes to poop.

if I ordered in the summer - by the time it arrived - would be mush.

Well version five base isn’t sloppy or the soap too soft.

I had one, liked it to be honest. Wasn’t the worst whilst definitely not up with the best.

I have the Backcountry Bourbon. Very soft but not exactly cream. Gourmand scent.

If you overload, definitely doesn't break down with water. Great performance

Very close to Omnibus & Ultima & First Line Shave but not exactly there yet. Very good soap in my books though. Good price too.

Definitely better than Wholly Kaw, Stirling, Mammoth, Declaration Grooming, Moon Soaps ans some more..
