Looking at the first vid again, the whole situation could have been avoided with an inner as well as the outer security gate. Armed response in relation to home security has a whole new meaning in South Africa compared to here. Imagine private security contractors in a war zone showing up at your door in response to your home alarm going off.

Another thing you don't want to do is drive with an open side window but even closed they can be punched out with an old spark plug according to our guide.
