So sorry for your loss. I am really dreading the day when I have to make the same decision for my 'wee sweetie'. I am so scared that I will be selfish and make her suffer longer than I should

Very sorry to hear the sad news. Been in that position a few times too many and can well understand how you are feeling. You did your best and in the end that is all you can do.

So sorry for your loss ,we have two dogs ourselves , one a Yorkshire Terrier had a terrible time last year , he had stones stopping him peeing , they castrated him and made another hole for him to pee out off , he had any amount of infections . He is on a special Urinary care diet that costs about £150 a month , the operation was 2k .
It creased my partner and I seeing him whimpering with pain after the operation , he got painkillers from the vet , but , they weren’t totally effective.
Now at 14 his back legs are starting to go , he struggles at times .
We love him dearly but I fear there may be a heartbreaking decision to make in the near future.
God bless.

we got a card sympathy from the veterinarian today. It’s a nice touch and brought back tears and memories.
