Gem Razor Blades?????

Not as yet ... but then I only have a VC1 (and an older 7 O'Clock) which I'd just crack the back corners off with my trusty Leatherman, but I'll certainly pop one off a used blade and see.

Do you mean, is the spine as easily removable ... given what appears to be a crimp/tack/rivet even on either side? That's only in the pictures. In reality, it's the same as the old ones.

I'm not exactly sure which are which in my used blade stash, but I'll pop the spine off this one I'm using right now (confirmed new stock) once I'm done with it.

Removable, that was the concern, the pix make it look very permanent.

Well, they all came off in my used pile ... some of which are new @TobyC
EDIT: ... and popped the spine off one from the pack, no issues.

Have you tried to remove the spine from a new one? It looks different, and AutoStrop users need to know.
