Watched Project Hail Mary last night, thoroughly enjoyed it. It's based on a novel by Andy Weir who also wrote The Martian which is one of my favourite films.

I watched Spectral (2016) the other day. Lots of familiar faces, good production values, but the plot was a strange sci-fi mashup with lots of cringy character tropes. It was really fun-just weird. High budget/low budget feel. Reminded me of The Gorge (2025) a little.
Also watched Mr K (2024). It was a fever dream. Unsettling. I have no idea what actually happened in the end. Fun film, and I enjoyed it, but I couldn’t really recommend it to anyone who wasn’t into weird pointless films.
