Yes you are right, I watched it a few days ago, it settled to an alright script then went bonkers at the end with Jimmy Saville and the Chavs, I really don't know what to make of it

Just watched 28 Years Later. It started off weird, settled down in the middle (despite some questionable logic) and went completely off the rails at the end. I wouldn't bother with it again, it's nowhere near the first one.

There certainly was some very weird stuff going on, especially when the zombie gave birth to a baby, and the crazy Jimmy Saville gang

Watched 28 years later the other night... First 30 minutes was quite enjoyable but then it took a turn and just got worse the longer it went on.

Overall not recommended, even if you're a fan of the original (I am.)
