Feather and Kai shaves

Had one go on these the other day mate and they're much less lethal than the Feather ProGuard one is been trying. I think these may - just may - be about right for me. Need to try them in a shavette now rather than the Shield Razor...
Mark with my ac/se razors I normally use Schick proline, I’m still getting used to the feather dx and will stick to the guarded for a little longer. I read that the feather proguards were a bit more rough. Enjoy your shaves mate 😊

By the way keep meaning to ask about SV? You seem like a convinced user. Worth trying? I realise this isn't the right thread but while you're here 👍

A question to other shavette users, after shaving do you take it apart and clean and dry the shavette along with the blade? With the de razors I usually dismantle and clean the razor and rinse and dry the blade and put it back into its wrapper

I like these very much in the DX. They work better for me in that than in the Kai. Jury’s still out on them in the SR, though. Sometimes they’re ok, but other times, not. It depends on my angles. But in the DX and the greater exposure, the MGs work like a charm.

I hadn’t been doing it consistently, but on @Twelvefret ’s suggestion, I now take the RBSR apart after every shave and clean and dry everything before reassembling.

I know I'm only using the clones currently but I find the pinch mechanism much harder to dry than the DE lever arm shavettes. I think I ran some kitchen roll through it to speed things up. Most things are dry after my 48hr shave gap though
The Feather brand slides apart, two individual pieces. Are you saying the clone cannot be dismantled? If so, I would do as you are doing.
