Olaf Rasmussen's also produced a version of their surgical prep razor with a 'key' for institutional use in the States. Their standard razor is a great shaver (medium aggressive) and the head on their 'key' version is similar.

I am a retired corrections officer and I have handled psycho razors when working at a super-max prison facility back in the 80's. All the other facilities used carts, which the inmates would dismantle, melt a toothbrush and line one side with cart blades. I once saw a man slice another mans back up so badly that his ribs were showing and he needed over 200 stitches - not a pretty sight. Whenever I cut myself with one of my straights, I always think - "Well, it's not as bad as that guys back was, anyway!"

Assuming it’s a collectors thing, as without the key you can’t use the razor anyway?

Well, as I said a nut driver would work it's just a hex nut inside the handle, but then you're losing some of the collectability without the key.
