USA is not a market I would want too loose, but honestly I am greedy who never want to loose any clients.

Enjoy paying more for everything so the people who have always been doing fine will be doing better. Home of the brave! Not too smart but brave. Brave enough to pay for billionaires tax breaks! If only brave paid for veterans benefits, kids healthcare, Medicaid, school lunch, SNAP. They’re so brave they melt down over income tax, it’s why they all move to the poop hole that is Florida, but have no issue taking it in the rear with tariffs cause orange daddy says it’s good. Then they share things from blatantly biased right wing American crap think tanks as real info. Smh. Can I move to any of the countries you guys are in? Smh

Ugh. Anyway, back to the topic lads.
I could care less whether or not in the US life was better 50 years ago. I can tell you that when I started working full time in the early 1970s at a pulp and paper mill as a unionized employee things were better. I could and did over the course of 30+ years manage to buy and pay for 2 homes several vehicles, survive a divorce with the associated child support payments for 3 children by not overspending on large homes, overly expensive vehicles and becoming credit poor. I also managed to save towards retirement over and above having a defined benefits company pension plan. That allowed me to take an early retirement with a slight loss in pay at 56. In between I managed to travel to OZ twice, South African 3 times, Europe on several occasions and across Canada to both coasts several times plus north to the Yukon and Alaska. While working I had accumulated at least at 6 weeks paid holidays per year. I have now been retired almost 20 years and still not doing too badly financially. You can't do all that today here on mostly one income. So, yea, things were better here 50 years ago, and I had a ringside seat to watching things deteriorate to the point we are at today. I should add that it was all possible on a grade 9 high school education and no university.

Life was in fact much better for a Union household 40 years ago in the United States. If you did hit the link, don’t bother, it’s to a right wing organization in the US. It’s full of poop. It’s very easy to look at economic numbers and see.

To be fair, while Wet Shaving Brothers in the USA may feel the pinch importing gear now, with the exception of Canada, Italy, UK and some of Europe, most of the finest Razors, shaving soaps and the best Brush Artisans are all in the States. There is still stock available of stuff that isn't made in teh USA.
Razors like Tatara, Goodfellas , Razorock, Karve and even Wolfies, still pop up on BST every now and then. I'd be surprised if Ali Express is missed as there is so much of hate dealt out to Chinese manufacturers of shaving gear across forums for their copyright infringement, stolen designs etc etc. The only issue I foresee is that when non US shaving gear stocks are depleted, new stock will carry higher prices with them. Then again there is no need of stocking up or panic buying as we all know how long soaps and aftershaves can last. Also there is no rush to acquire new razors when many of us haven't tried out the last ones we acquired yet. maybe a good thing to plug that Rabbit Hole for awhile and enjoy the stuff we have rather than lean on impulse buying.
On the Economic front, countries across the globe have forged new relationships and trade agreements worldwide in the last few months and many are self reliant within their own shell. To live in the fantasy that one country can call the shots still is foolish. Will it affect the global economy and create unrest financially, it sure could.
Sadly a Country can never be run like a business, a good business mind can handle the financial interest of the country but a good political mind handles relationships, the well being of the nation as a whole, the financial development and so on. The USA is a great nation with the threads of history, culture, entertainment, tech, food and so much more weaved into it's story.
Like the Late George Harrisson said, "All Things Must Pass" and so will this. My suggestion, ' Rest your mind and enjoy the Shaves Brothers.'
