That would be a sad loss.
And Connaught Shaving say "Discontinued" on their site.

I would say the Merkur 45 has been discontinued for a few years now.
What has surprised me is that the Merkur 37C is not listed, only the 39C.

When I visited Merkur two years ago with forum-der-rasur.de they had oodles of 45's lying around. Their website however does not list everything they have: no gold Futur either!

I would say the Merkur 45 has been discontinued for a few years now.

The 45 was still listed in their 2019 catalogue.
