Different Razors Different Blade question

For me, any of my blades in any of my razors works fine generally and i can get a decent shave ....
.... However ....... once you get deep down into the nuances of shaving, there are indeed differences between blade grinds and coatings, razor blade exposure and blade clamping, weight and balance and on top of that everyone's face / skin is different, as is the way they shave.
You can have great combos or poor combos of razor + blade.
So yes find something that works safely for you and then stick with that for a while, so you learn about your skin and the way you shave. Then have a play with other stuff, when you are ready to spot and appreciate those small differences.
PS @Randy Astra SP cant be crap, else they wouldn't be so popular with so many people for so many years. They tick many boxes.
FWIW, In my limited experience i love Russian Astra SP for being a perfect balance of sharp enough and smooth enough - they just work well for me,
Beyond that, I prefer BIC to Feather and i continue to be very impressed indeed with the Chinese KCG blades (and the KCG Razor too)
