My only negative experience was on a discussion about how could parents choose names for their children that would give them problems later in life, sort of
A Boy named Sue approach. This was after I had met someone called Olive Black, as opposed to black olive. she said that the name was the bane of her life. I was accused of making a racist comment.
There seems to be a high minded approach. they have a Jokes thread and a Mod gave a warning that memes (often funnier than jokes) would be deleted.
They also have some odd rules, someone asks 'I have been looking for X and cannot find it anywhere'. you post a link to a retailer and the post is deleted because it breaks the rules, you offer a PM with the information but that breaks the rules also.
