I have been a member of Badger & Blade for 10 years, and I have not been banned yet. Although I only post in three places, the straight razor of the day, the photo thread and the knife thread. I would imagine it would be pretty hard to get banned from posting on those threads. As someone who also moderates a big group of straight razor users with more than 8,000 members, for me, less is more seems to work the best; rarely do I ever have to ban someone.
But there isn't any Toby or Speedy in this forum, right? 😆

Correct, if there were, I don't think they would reach two posts before they were banned for life.:laugh::laugh: Having said that, the Against the Grain forum is by far the best moderated shaving forum you will come across. I think it also tells you that the British are far more tolerant than our American friends. I would bet my house on it that if a British person posted half the 💩 that some people post on here, be it on an Australian or an American forum, they would receive a life ban, and not that I'm against them posting it, but also be thankful for the British for their easy-going nature and tolerance, the Brits are drip fed on sarcasm from an early age in the UK so most insults is like water off a ducks back.

Well said.

I had one warning, surprisingly with a long discussion, on B and B. There was a thread about thoughtless first names that parents given their children, I had recently met someone called Olive Black which I thought was a curious first name given the compulsory last name.

I had a grey box warning telling me that racist posts would not be tolerated.

I felt like saying that I had put up with a lifetime of racist comments but I let it go.

Not bad, you lasted 3 years, only once was I nearly banned from there, in the jokes section I posted a very tame religious joke by my standards, well, you know what Americans are like when it comes to God & Guns.
Only surpassed by religion and sling shots. :D
