Cheapest?

Not just because I'm Dutch but just out of curiosity ; what's the cheapest NEW (not vintage) razor you have ever used (and lived to tell about it?

I was trying to convert an old friend of mine to the righteous path of DE shaving and stumbled upon Alibaba where I saw safety razors for 3 dollar or something! Are they even useable at that price?

Never used one but I assume they will be made in some factory where a branded razor will be. Maybe didnt pass quality checks, different material or just unbranded. That happens with bicycles anyways.
As for cheapest razor, a Merkur 33c which I loved and have been meaning to use it again.

I bought a 99p plastic fliptop razor from ebay a while back, just for fun really. It shaved perfectly fine, but I'd not recommend to someone new to DE shaving, it was the best experience and it went in the bin after the one shave

Five BiC Metal razors bought on a tiny island in Greece for €1.99. Good razors. Not DE, but they qualify here in 'General shaving'

I guess my disposable, metal Kai SE razors. About 50 cents/razor.

Not DE but surprisingly good razors.
Very inexpensive too.

I started out on this journey with a Chinese rimei razor, about £3 I pif'd it so some one on here may still have it.

I found the Rimei a surprisingly good razor and a great place to start if you're genuinely looking to save every penny.
