Lots of blade feel, like a Blackbird but on a completely higher level. Even felt the blade drag (large exposure?) duff blade ?
Very aggressive but not a single nick, my usual two passes left possibly the closest shave i’ve had in a long time, bit more care it could of been a BBS but I daren’t buff with it.
A little hint of rawness but not much

Ever since I got the Charcoal Goods Level 3 open comb in antique brass, a little over a year ago, it's been my favorite DE razor. A couple have come close, but it's been able to both dethrone its predecessors and fight off new challengers. I don't notice blade chatter--just an incredibly efficient shave. Sure, there's blade feel, but the blade doesn't bite (much).

How does the LV2 compare to the Karve?

That is based on the C plate but i’d stick my neck out and guess the lvl 2 is the same based against a D plate too

How does the LV2 compare to the Karve?

I had a Karve and borrowed a level 2 Charcoal and sold the Karve right away. The level 2 Charcoal is far better imho, so much I am after one for myself even tho I have (am??) stopping buying razors........
