Extro soaps are available at Shaving Station and Executive Shaving. I haven't seen them elsewhere online. I have the Bay Rum, Tabacco and O'selvaggio versions. The Bay Rum is a sweeter lighter version of classic Bay, the Tobacco is sweet and excellent. O'selvaggio pays homage to Christian Dior 'Eau Savage' and is outstanding in terms of scent. I have matching Aftershave balms in all three. Extro products are very underrated.

I’ve used the CF Limes twice since my initial post, but haven’t made much progress. I’ve increased the amount of water and cream I lather with and the resulting lather has been thicker than my first attempt. Slickness and cushioning, however, have not improved at all resulting in my face being irritated by the end of my shave. At more than twice the price of my stock TOBS and Trumper creams, CF is very poor value in terms of overall performance and satisfaction. I had intended to buy a pot of CF Lavender, but will not do so now and will stick with my tried and true (and much cheaper) TOBS Lavender. I had high hopes for CF, but it’s a huge disappointment.

I have the TOBS grapefruit, definitely slicker and the price is fantastic.

The CF only shines for its scent.

I’m going to be the voice of dissent here but I get great results with CF. It is much firmer than most creams though so you need to treat it like a soft soap.

I bought a tub of the CF Lime with about 85% of it full at a steep discount and used it for the first time today. I have to agree that the slickness isn't the best. I also have the Lavender and the performance of the two is the same. In the tub I absolutely love the scent. But working the lather in a bowl I find the scent changes a bit and becomes a little more "chemically" if that makes any sense. I don't dislike the scent but I don't love it as much as I thought I would. Glad I bought the partial tub instead of a full priced full tub. With my rotation this will likely last me many years and will use it up. What I'll probably do is pair it with a citrus scented soap that has more slickness to create a super lather. I will say a little goes a long way. The lather is exceptional. But it is disappointing that such an amazing lather isn't slicker than it is.

Try loading brush directly from tub, then dip the tips of brush in water and start face lathering...after a few moves on face with a brush, dip tips again in water and lather again..I dip tips 3-5 times during first pass...It is really thirsty cream :D

I bowl lather. I take my time adding small amounts of water until the lather is the consistency of yogurt with a nice sheen and soft peaks. Fully hydrated. Still not the slickest cream I’ve ever used. Love the scent though.
