I get what you say, always shower after shaving, so most of smell from SOAP is gone. Smell or Scent is nice while Shaving, but I am allergic to BEE Stings. Bee's like smells. Ido not like BEE STINGS.

The thing is that almost never after a shave with a soap/aftershave set, has anyone detected the scent on me. And this is bad because money are already spent for practically no reason! 😞

PS Ariana & Evans is an exception

I have found when using a Bowl or cup to lather a little Soap or Cream, or Croap aka Cream-Soap goes many uses. Start with little water ad it a drop at a time to build great lather to shave. I do not make lather that looks like a Soft Serve Ice Cream, I make one to put on, Shave off and lear face smooth.

My ideal is to not smell of anything at all, so I enjoy the scent while shaving but typically want it gone afterwards.

Ariana & Evans sounds like one I might have to avoid. I find a lot of artisan soaps, for some reason especially American ones, to be too heavily-scented.

Peter from Ariana & Evans was at AZShave Meetup last February, he appreciated qtly make great soaps. Did not buy any, sort of sorry he did not sell sample sizes. Think Maggard's does sample sizes, that yield 4-5 uses.

My Castle Forbes Lime is on its last little bits. I love that one.
Fresh and proper lime scent. Great for the summer.
Will I replace it? That is such a tough question...
I will really miss it, but I could try another Castle Forbes scent. The lavender didn't do it for me. Wrong variety of lavender. Not like my childhood.
But: I have soooo many soaps/creams still left from when I was a crazy wetshaver. They should go first... (I stopped compulsive spending years ago)
Most of those are getting quite old though. Maybe just stick with Castle Forbes for summer and Tabac for winter?
It's what I do anyway... There is a week left in the Castle Forbes... Let's not rush things...

Oh... is Castle Forbes overpriced? Hell, no!

Pricey but you get what you pay for.

One of the very best shaving creams out there.

Its greatest asset? Its efficacy. Little goes a long way.

In my humble opinion far above the 3Ts in quality and performance.

CF you compare it with Pens or the [discontinued] Floris (lanolin) creams, not with ToOBS...
