Bug-A-Salt

What is a "city roach"? Is it a cock roach?

Bob
That's what they call them here. Blacker than the reddish cock variety which is also here. My Home Depot bug spray does the trick. I usually find them upside down in the morning.

Ordered a Bug-a-salt 3.0 Black Fly last night. The kitchen is what the Americans would call a “target-rich environment“ currently. The salt can get swept up along with the fly carcasses. 😁
That's the same model my grandson owns. Table salt works just fine. BTW, don't shoot in eyes or face...LOL!!

We have a zapper which works quite well. Actually yesterday I get a call up the stairs from Mrs Saint, there’s a wasp in the kitchen. I get downstairs as it flys out the back door. So I go back upstairs, ten minutes later she calls again, now there’s a bee. Go down only again to see it fly out the back door.

This is bug related, my A/C went out Friday. The repair person removed the outside cover where ants had gathered to prevent the necessary contact to engage the compressor. I'll spray some insecticide today.

Ever notice when the heat and air go out it waits until after business hours on Friday.....LOL!!

I use an electric zapper in the shape of a tennis racket myself. Works pretty well, and it's better than smacking them against a wall or a lamp.

We do also have Ted. Ted the Springer tries to catch flies, if he manages he eats them !
