Not much of a Brush person, they fall into TWO Categories in my World.
Functional, meaning, does job, nothing to write home to mother about. No wow factor, and boring like most average things, experiences, meals etc.
Then you have the Brushes I call Functional Art, as they do job, but their Handle are Unique, and Artsy.
My father had a Simpson he bought during WW-II in Great Britten when he was in USMM (Merchant Marines). Brush last for ever over 50+ years, and recall seeing its in 2010. But when he died it was not in his apartment in 2014.
I am a price point Omega-Brand Bore guy, did buy one synthetic from China years ago, it must have been defective, as after few uses Knot feel apart.
But recently have been looking at the upper end Chinese Made Brush Handles, and Knots, and they the Chinese are apparently doing great things. Might be trying to own Shaving Brush market, both production, and custom.
Keep hearing this phrase, or ten. Do not understand it MEANING so here goes. What is ment by, "Execution on making the knot is mass-market: has a glue bump" What is this Glue Bump, how does it effect performance, or just static thing????
ready to use after first wash, with no need for breakdown on the badger.
