Blackland Razors

I thought that mild razors were my preference after a bad experience with a Janus Toggle and my success with many vintage Gillettes as well as a Timeless Titanium 0.68 and then a Blackland Tradere SB. Somehow the lure of the Blackbird won and I couldn’t resist the Black Friday sale.

I have found the Blackbird SB both efficient and smooth. The biggest problem I have with it, is that there is little desire to use any of the other fine razors I own.

Efficient does not need to be uncomfortable or dangerous.
Glad to hear it! I couldn't agree more.

The Vector is simply brilliant, smooth and efficient. I’m a daily 2 pass shaver and use Schick Prolines, which I get around 10-12 shaves from. I’ve recently started to shave my head and I find it great for that too, especially around the fiddly bits around the ears although I do have a Leaf Shave Razor on the way. Credit to Shane for designing a piece of art that also functions superbly which isn’t always the case.

I bought the Blackbird SB via Kickstarter solely based on looks. Fortunately it shaves just as good as it looks and is now the only DE razor I have now. Sold everything else.

I have the same problem...I haven't been able to use any other razor since getting the BB a couple of weeks ago.

I love it with the superbly sharp BIC chrome platinum blades. Incredibly efficient whilst being smooth on the skin and zero weepers in the entire time I've used it.

Hmmmm
I think I'm headed that way myself!
I love every single aspect of the BB...the aesthetics, the grip, the head geometry/characteristics and most importantly, the deep BBS that provides smoothness right up to late night!

Received the email and very tempted
Ditto my only issue with the Blackbird was it was too aggressive for my daily needs. I loved the design and build quality. So a mid aggressive design would likely suit me down to a tea. So this looks like it may end up as my 3rd Blackbird!🙄
